Southeastern Review
of Journalism History
A publication of the Southeastern Colloquium of the American Journalism Historians Association and the Augusta University Department of Communication
The Southeastern Review of Journalism History is a research journal devoted to the study of mass communication history. It is housed in the Department of Communication at Augusta University in Augusta, Ga., and is the official publication of the Southeastern Colloquium of the American Journalism Historians Association. The Colloquium meets annually at Panama City Beach.
The editor in chief is Dr. Debra Reddin van Tuyll, professor of communication. The managing editor and book review page editor is Dr. David W. Bulla, interim department chair and associate professor of communication.
The journal is produced by students in the Academic Publishing class at Augusta University. For the 2018 issues, those students serving on the staff are Luke Street, Bekendrianna Wynn, Jordan Stenger, and Allison Hagen.
The journal's focus is on student research, but it also accepts submissions from faculty. Instructions for submissions are below.
